We repair/ replace your brakes at your residence. We can perform our work either in your garage or driveway, as long as it is on your property.
We can not perform vehicle repairs on city streets, parking lots or any other city owned properties.

If you live in a Condo, Apartment, Townhouse or Co-op housing, you will be required to inquire with your Strata to ensure that vehicle maintenance is allowed at your location.

No, we do not install customer supplied parts.

There are too many variances with brake part quality, and applicability.

Brake parts vary in price and quality. The old saying " you get what you pay for" is very true.

Cheaper brake parts will often have these characteristics: poor braking performance, shorter life, excessive brake noise, and excessive brake dust. When we perform brake repair, we ensure that the parts used on your vehicle are high quality and will have good braking performance.

There are also variances in applications. For example, some vehicles may have different sizes of brake rotors or pads, even though they share the same year/make/ model of your car.

We replace Brake Pads and Rotors at the same time of service. Existing brake rotors have gone through several heat cycles with your last set of brake pads. Since brake rotors are made from cast iron, they will also corrode. Excessive corrosion will be cause to reject the rotor for the next service with a new set of pads. During the service life of a brake pad and rotor combination, BOTH the pads and rotors will wear. The brake rotors will become thinner by 2-3mm. The brake rotor has a minimum allowable thickness, and quite often, if a rotor was machined, it could become too thin, and therefore beyond the minimum thickness service limits. We do give the option to our customers to keep their old brake rotors for future use. If the used brake rotors still have sufficient thickness, the customer may wish to send their old brake rotors to a machine shop to have the rotors machined on a lathe, and therefore can be installed on the following brake replacement.
